COVID healthcare workers support fund

For the last several days here, everyone’s world has been turned around. While many of you stay home and hopefully stay safe from the Coronavirus, the resident doctors, nurses and staff of Brookdale hospital work day and night to defeat this pandemic and prevent people from dying.

Many have started staying away from their families to minimize their risk of exposure. Given the scale of the pandemic in NY, they see hundreds of patients each day and work with supplies that are rapidly depleting. But they keep on going. Gowned up from head to toe most day, these everyday heroes find little time to even eat during working hours.

This is an appeal to each of you who can afford to show their appreciation and support to contribute to this fund, that hopes to provide nutritious meals (purchased from local businesses)to these incredible people, to nourish their bodies and their morales to keep this incredible effort going.

We New Yorkers are no strangers to hardship and standing by each other and I’m sure this time is no different. Please open your hearts and contribute.
