Feed Poor Afghans (ongoing)
Donation protected
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
We are fundraising to feed desperate families in Afghanistan in this harsh winter.
A combination of economic and political strife as well as harsh droughts has caused poverty and famine to reach new heights in Afghanistan.
The Afghan currency has dropped significantly and inflation has caused food prices to double. Harvests from farming has been very limited in recent years.
This is the village of Kachaghoo in Wardak province of Afghanistan. There are 160 large families living in this village, many of whom are orphans and widows.
The cost to feed a family of ten for a month is only £75.
All charity collected will be distributed amongst the villagers.
Please donate as much as you can to help them. The situation is grim and many families will struggle to survive through the winter.
The families are all eligible to be paid Zakah
Please watch the videos of Brother Muhammad Hamid Misbah, representative of the village, as linked above.
