Feed Spokane is a Spokane, WA-based nonprofit organization that rescues food from restaurants and other businesses and distributes it to those who need it most.

We have grown tremendously and now rescue an average of 22,000 lbs of food weekly.

That’s enough food to provide over 18,300 meals to help feed local families, children, and seniors.

Due to the recent growth, our transportation costs are up 600% over last year, and our food rescue trips have increased 300% over last year. Coupled with higher gas prices, our expenses for fuel have skyrocketed.

To top it off, one of our vans needs a new transmission, and the other needs a new engine. Businesses are willing to give, but we can't meet the demand without transportation.
