Feed The Frontline Roanoke
Donation protected
Help feed our frontline workers and support local restaurants.
For the past 2 weeks, my wife and I have been purchasing food or collecting home cooked goodies for the staff at our local ER. We plan on continuing this small act of kindness for our hospital family regardless of how many donations we receive. However, I'm putting this fund out there in case there are others in the community who would like to contribute to feeding our Doctors, Nurses, PAs, and First Responders.
I will use 100% of all funds to purchase food from local only restaurants on a rotating schedule to ensure we're supporting as many local places as possible. I will then arrange for the food to be delivered to the local hospitals and the local fire/rescue stations if there is an outpouring of support.
If you don't have the means or the calling to give, please spread your own small acts of kindness.
-Continue to order takeout from your local restaurants
-Continue to tip your customary amount even if you're not being waited on
-Tell the people still getting up everyday and going to work (whether it be a first responder or the guy stacking your chips at Kroger), "thank you, for continuing to go to work and put your health on the line for me."
-Treat each other with respect during this time of uncertainty
Thank you.
