Feed the homeless of KC on new years
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Chris Scobee, and I'm 21 years old. For the last several years, I have been feeding the homeless population in KC on the holidays, usually for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I also try to hand out coats and blankets, but mostly food—it just depends on how much money I have to spend on it. I started doing this about three years ago when I realized a lot of homeless people don't get a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal, and many of them do not have family. So, I decided that I needed to start going out, talking to them, and having a positive interaction with them. Giving out food is the best way I know how to do that. This might be the only positive interaction they've had that day, that week, that month, or that year. I think it's so important that they feel needed and wanted. A lot of them are just going through life hurting and feeling unwanted. I know I can't make them all feel wanted, but I strive to make a difference in as many people's lives as possible, especially the homeless. I don't do this for the thanks; I do it because if I don't do it, who else will? There’s lots of pictures on my IG if you want to see more Instagram handle
