My name is Ja’Nelle Alexander and I am the People Services Manager at Mariano’s Roscoe Village #504.
Our team at Roscoe Village is seeking your support in providing financial assistance for associate La‘Angela West. Since 2018, she has served as an active leader in her department and in the company. La’Angela is currently a Level 3 team member in our Hot Foods Department. She is high-performing associate who is in the process of training her way into a Level 4 role with the goal of becoming a manager someday. On a daily basis, La’Angela goes above and beyond for customers as well as her fellow team members. She is a role model for many when it comes to leadership, training and development, and upholding “Our Promise” for our customers.
On April 22nd, La’Angela’s husband of eleven years lost his life to COVID-19. With these unexpected circumstances, she has expressed great concern when it comes to being able to sustain the cost of her husband’s funeral arrangements of $15,000 while maintaining financial stability and covering her essential expenses. While we have made some strides to gather donations, we still have a lot more to accomplish.
On behalf of La’Angela, we are asking you to please consider gifting a monetary donation to help us support her during this time. Your contributions will go towards funeral services and burial for La’Angela’s husband. In advance, she thanks the entire company for the “great generosity and sacrifice.”
