Help Us Provide much needed food for Families in Kenya During Ramadan!
Assalamu Alaikum,
As the blessed month of Ramadan approaches, City Retreat is once again embarking on a mission to support families in need in Kenya. Last year, with your generous contributions, we were able to raise £19,049 and distribute 353 food packs to support more than 2000 people in rural communities in Kenya. This year, with your continued support and the grace of Allah (SWT), we aim to raise £30,000 to extend our reach and impact.
Our goal is to provide food packs and iftar meals to numerous families and the local masjid throughout Ramadan. With your help, we can ensure that families in Kiserian, Ongata Rongai, Kware, Ole kasasi A, Ole kasasi B, Isiolo, Tinga, Langat Cemetery, Rimpa, Ngong, Birika, Ngurmani, and beyond receive the nourishment they need during this holy month.

Each Ramadan food pack costs £50 and includes essential items such as:
Sugar: 4kg
Wheat Flour: 8kg
Maize Flour: 8kg
Cooking Oil: 3ltrs
Salt: 1kg
Rice: 8kg
Beans: 8kg
Margarine: 1kg
Dates: 2kg
Green Grams: 2kg
Tea Leaves: 1/2 kg
Fidya £5 per day (for those that cannot fast)
Kaffara £150 per person (for those who do not fast throughout Ramadan)
