Feeding Federal Workers on furlough

My name is Chef Sean with Memphis Chef!
Although  I hail from North Carolina, after living in Memphis for 12 years I considered myself a true Memphian. 
This Government Shutdown is the reason I began this campaign. Ive seen and watched individuals and families struggle to keep shelter over their heads, gas in their tanks, food on their table and more. While we all have our different opinions about the politics involved , we can all still agree that the symptoms it are sad & discouraging. 


We have to pull together as a community and all need to say to ourselves “it starts with me”z  that said I am providing dinners/lunches to federal employees on  furlough. The need is GREAT. Since Local 24’s story aired, I’ve been contacted by many govt employees asking for dinners for them and their families. Until the government is up and running again, I will be feeding those without and who are in need.
The funds donated will be used to purchase food from grocery stores to cook and prepare for the federal employees and their families.
