Feeding the Filipino's for Christmas
Donation protected
As we move past this Thanksgiving my wife and I are hoping to provide for families in the Philippines this Christmas. We are so grateful that through using this platform previously we were able to raise close to $2,000 for School Supply & Easter Egg Hunt. You can see lots of pictures at our Davella Quinn Facebook Page. Davella Quinn is the name under which we have done several different programs for people in the Philippines. The name combines my 1st name David (Dave) and my wife's Ella. We are not a 501c3 program, just 2 individuals trying to make a difference.
Now comes our next program. Cautiously, we would like to provide 100 families with food and groceries for this Christmas. Food such as Argentine corn beef, rice, dried fish, sardines, instant noodles, bread, magarine, salt, brown sugar, coffee & cooking oil. Groceries such as toothpaste, body soap & laundry soap. In the hope of doing more it would be great if we could provide each family with 1-3 cans of both Spam. This is an imported product which is a little bit more expensive but it can be added to the rice to make a little bit more tasty and nutrious meal.
With all this in mind we are looking to see if we can get donations of any amount to help up achieve our goal. A donation of only $10 comes to almost P500 (Pesos) in Philippine money and would be very helpful. If God has blessed you this year and you wish to give more we would be truly grateful. I am attaching a list of items with both their Philippine Peso amount and US Dollar amount.
If the pandemic has taken a toll on your finances we could still use your prayers and it would be great if you could share this on your social media with some of your own words that might encourage other people to chip in. Our goal is to wrap things up by Thursday, December 23rd and have the delivery take place after Christmas but before the new year. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our cause. I hope everyone had a wonderful THANKSGIVING with family or friends and whatever your celebration is in December may it be a festive and enjoyable time for you and your family!
Lastly, the photos I am attaching are from our school supply project. Again, you can always see more pictures of all the events we have done at our Facebook page Davella Quinn.
