Feeding THOUSANDS of Dogs and Cats

We have been gifted with an extremely rare opportunity to feed THOUSANDS of hungry dogs and cats for next to nothing. A national pet food manufacturer has reached out to Felines & Canines and offered us 37 pallets (that's 50,000lbs!!!) of premium dog and cat food as they are re-doing their packaging and will not be selling these pallets. The only stipulation is we need to transport the food out of the warehouse and distribute it to animals in need. We are aware of numerous empty food banks in Chicago and Alabama, as well as a variety of amazing shelters, animal control facilities, and TNR groups who could desperately use this food. In order to pick up and distribute this food, we need to hire a commercial trucking company and rent a fork lift and pallet jack in order to relocate the food. We can do this for a total cost of $2,500 (or a mere $.05 per pound). This is not an opportunity we can pass up... in the 15 years of doing this type of work, I have never seen such a substantial food donation being made that can fill so many bellies.
