Toby Needs Your Help,With Vet Costs, Meds and Treatment

Hi my name is Joan and my service dog ‍ Toby has taken ill. Toby accompanies me to all medical appointments and treatments at the cancer clinic. Toby is on a treatment plan which also includes his medication, changing his diet and tests that have become expensive at the vet. Along with vet bills, Toby needs your help and support. Please help him to live his best life. Thank you

Toby had bronchitis four weeks ago. He was breathing off again and our vet treated him for another bout. This time the medication wasn’t working. There was something else going on. After X-rays, we were shocked to hear he still had fluid in his lungs, which he is being treated for. His heart is a little enlarged so there is a possibility of pulmonary disease but still treatable. Being on a disability pension, the cost of the tests and medication, are adding up and we need some help. Please could you help us? He is to have an ECG on Monday morning, bloodwork and a heart ultrasound.

Toby’s left side of his heart is enlarged likely due to mitral valve disease. There is evidence of pulmonary edema from poor cardiac output. There are areas of severe something pulmonary fibrosis. There are signs of something liver enlargement. The vet said not to panic. Current treatment of furosemide (lasik) should be continued. Additional diagnostics needed; ecg with cardiologist at vets office, blood tests, liver function blood tests and ultrasound. after that, The vet will make a plan for Toby and everyone is hopeful and praying for him.

Toby is a task trained service dog who helps me in my daily living. Please help me keeping my beautiful service dog alive and healthy. No amount is too small 5$, 10$ 20$.
