Felicia Fitzgerald, 29 Forever Missed

This has been such a hard blow to my family and myself. My children lost their mother and I lost my wife over Thanksgiving weekend and yesterday I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary without her.

I wanted to let all of the people who donated to the go-fund-me page that my mother set up for me how overwhelming the responses were. You all exceeded the initial and extended requests. My heart was so heavy both with grief and gratitude and I'm having such a hard time separating the two. Felicia would prefer I thank anyone who has done anything individually but I what I CAN say is you all are heroes.

I just want to let all of you know how grateful I am with your financial and heartfelt donations for my family and to those that also sent prayers and comments that couldn't give in any other way. I would also like to thank all of the communities that rallied together to make donations to my children and also provided transportation to me and my family.

Hi, I am Darla Fitzgerald and I'm fundraising for my son Adam Fitzgerald and his six children. Thanks to all of you who have looked at, shared and donated to Adam and his kids. Your support and words of comfort have been amazing and overwhelming. When I started the fundraiser, it was just a couple hours after Felicia passed. All I could really think of was her funeral and the van, their only means of transportation.

Adam got an amazing van donated to him! Thank you Cars for Heroes!

Felicia was a nurse and the primary source of income. It is for these reasons and many more that I humbley ask for an increase in donations. Thank you again for all of your support, it's amazing!

This morning his wife was on her way home from work as a nurse and in trying to avoid a pile up in Cass County, MO just north of Archie, MO her vehicle left the road and she passed away.

Felicia was 29 years old and the mother of six beautiful children, three girls and three boys.

This was such a shock and Adam and the kids are hurting. We've already replaced the car seat for Thea but we need help with the service, funeral, and hopefully enough for a cheap van. Anything anyone can give will be appreciated and used strictly to help Adam and the kids.
