Hola, me llamo Neciforo Bautista y mi cuñada Feliciana Rodríguez Hernández necesita nuestra ayuda pues fue diagnosticada con Leucemia, es decir tiene cáncer en la sangre. Ha estado luchando contra esta enfermedad desde agosto del 2022. Ahora no tiene recursos y necesita una mano amiga. Le rogamos nos ayude a recaudar fondos para pagar por un seguro médico, tratamientos y medicinas por un año. Feliciana no puede pagar un seguro que cuesta $400 al mes y los gastos adicionales ascienden a $9,700. Esperamos recaudar $15,000 para su tratamiento de un año.

Feliciana tiene 41 años y no puede trabajar debido a su salud tan precaria. Tampoco es elegible para Medicaid o algún tipo de ayuda del gobierno pues no cuenta con un seguro social. Actualmente está esperando un trasplante de médula ósea en el Hospital Lutheran General. Una vez que tenga un donante se agendará el trasplante y habrá un periodo de seis a doce meses durante el cual se espera que su cuerpo acepte el órgano. Feliciana estará hospitalizada por más de un mes después de la cirugía. Si el trasplante no funciona, se tendría que buscar otro donante. Su familia está ayudando con lo que puede, pero lo que juntaron no es suficiente para cubrir los gastos de su seguro médico. Su ayuda es muy valiosa. Cualquier cantidad que pueda donar hará una gran diferencia para Feliciana y nuestra familia.

Our family is pleading with you to get some funding to help pay for her insurance and her medical bills for at least one year. She cannot afford her insurance, nor can she afford to pay for the hospital stay. Her health insurance will be costing close to $400 a month and plus the max out of pocket will be $9,700. Therefore, we are requesting help of $15,000 for her medical bills for one year.

Feliciana is 41 years old and does not have insurance and cannot hold a job due to her illness. She does not qualify for Medicaid nor any government assistance because she is undocumented. She is waiting to receive a bone marrow transplant at Lutheran General and is waiting for a donor for this surgery to take place. Once a donor is available, then the surgery can proceed. After the surgery takes place, there is a trial period to see if the transplant was successful, that timeframe would be a period of approximately six months to a year to see if the transplant was successful. She will be hospitalized for over a month after the surgery. If the transplant is not successful, the hospital will again search for a new donor. Her family is helping with whatever means they have but it was not enough beyond the first month payment of the insurance premium already paid.
