Felicity “Ellie” Howell Medical Expenses
Donation protected
August 7, 2023, Ellie was riding her bike out front of her home and was struck by a truck. She suffered a femur fracture, and a head injury. She was transported to IU ball emergency department. It was decided by the medical staff that she would be flown by IU health Lifeline to IU Riley for immediate surgery to repair her leg.
Ellie is a chiari malformation warrior in which she had brain surgery at a young age. She was diagnosed with Von Wildebrands disease which is a debilitating bleeding disorder.
We ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she tries to recover.
Ellie is a very adventurous and brave girl. She loves animals and has a very bright personality. The most unfortunate part about her story today is that her birthday is in only one week and she will now have a long recovery. She is a very smart girl and does well in school, and I know she will be eager to get back to see her friends.
Please, if you have the means to do so, make a donation or just share this post.
