Feline Force Protection Program
Donation protected
https://www.facebook.com/FelineForceProtectionProgram/ The Feline Force Protection Program is a critical part of the preventive medicine program on Resolute Support Headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan. Cats defend their territory, which prevents stray cats from bringing serious diseases onto the base, such as rabies, leptospirosis, and toxoplasmosis. We work with Nowzad Animal Clinic to keep the cats healthy. Our program volunteers perform a variety of duties, such as filling sanctioned feeding points, maintaining the clinic, and liaising with the veterinary team. We are seeking funds to cover day to day costs of running the program. This includes money for food, litter, gloves, and cleaning supplies.
Update: Max, one of our FFPP cats, recently suffered an injury to her hip that will require surgery. As a result, Max will not have the mobility she once had and will now need to be an indoor kitty. We have found Max a furever home in NY and are raising funds to cover the costs to get here there. The airline fees to fly her from Kabul Afghanistan to NY are $2500. We are looking for donations to make her move possible.
Update: Maxine, now Millie, is safe at her furever home! Thanks to all who helped her get there!!!
