Felipe needs amputation & chemo

We just found out that Felipe has bone cancer and he's only 7 years old. I rescued him days away from being euthanized at 2 months old and ever since then he has filled our hearts with joy and so much love.
The oncologist says this is an aggressive type of cancer that moves fast so we only have one week to raise money and try to save his life. He will need to have his leg amputated and start chemo right after. If we don't do anything for him, the vet said he could die within 3-4 weeks.
So far we have spent approx. $850 and the amputation and chemo will costs between $8,000 - $15,000. So we are humbly asking you to donate anything (any amount will help). And if anything please share this page to your friends, family, coworkers and fellow dog lovers.
Some may say he is just a dog but he is so much more. He has been our weight loss trainer (ran with mommy, dada, and bro to train for marathon and lose weight). He has been our therapist (has literally licked our tears when we have been sad). He has been our chef assistant (ate some veggies that mommy prepped). He's a comedian (makes us laugh at his silly faces). He has amazed us with how smart and intuitive he is (like watching TV and reacting to it. For example barking at the bad guys or crying at dogs in a shelter). He also has been the best hiking partner. Oh and may I add he is the best nap buddy!
He is supposed to be at our wedding in September and he is supposed to be here for my son when he visits from the Air Force...so please let's root for Felipe & give him a chance to live!
