Felipe's Road to Recovery Needs You - Ayudemos a Felipe

Hello, my name is Jakelyn Salazar, and I grew up in Huaraz, Peru. Claudia Mercedes Julca Rosales, Felipe's mother, is my childhood friend from school to this day. I love her very much. I have wonderful memories of her and her entire family. She's like a sister to me. Our friendship transcends time, and now that we're adults, even more so. The day of Felipe's accident, my friend Claudia's son, was such a painful blow to me and my entire family. I could feel the pain and anguish they were going through. Felipe not being able to recover his arm was my biggest concern and the greatest anguish I felt. I live in the USA, and my friend and Felipe live in Lima, Peru. Felipe was hospitalized at the San Pablo Clinic in Lima, and the medical bills to pay are extremely high, as my friend revealed in a public interview she did. Seeing that Gofoundme was a way to help so many families was an inspiration for me to open it. All the money raised will go toward medical expenses, including a skin transplant, therapies, medicine, and more. The medical expenses total more than $25,000. I will send the money raised through my bank directly to my friend's savings account in Peru. I will let you know when my friend receives the money. My friend Claudia Mercedes, her husband Dante, and Felipe are very grateful to all the donors and also to Gofoundme. Felipe Vise Julca, a spirited and talented 10-year-old from Huaraz, Perú suffered a terrible accident and needs our help to get through it.

This last Monday, February 24th, 2025 after taking part in an international cycling competition in Peru, Felipe had a terrible accident. After the race, Felipe was enjoying a pool day with family and friends when a technical mishap with the pool suction system dragged his arm underwater and trapped it within the system. With his arm stuck and mangled, Felipe drowned and it took multiple people to pull him out from the system’s suction. Once out of the water, his father gave him CPR and miraculously managed to revive Felipe. He was taken to a hospital immediately to treat his injuries and received 2 emergency surgeries to try to repair and salvage his mangled arm.

Please help us support Felipe’s recovery through this horrible time and help him live out the rest of his life and dreams! He wants to be a professional cyclist and compete in more international competitions to represent his town of Huaraz and the country of Perú!!

Claudia Mercedes Julca Rosales mama de Felipe, es mi amiga de infancia desde la escuela hasta el día de hoy, yo la quiero mucho, tengo hermosos recuerdos de ella y de toda su familia, ella es como una hermana para mi. Nuestra amistad trasciende en el tiempo y ahora que ya somos adultas aun mas. El dia del accidente de Felipe, el hijo de mi amiga Claudia, fue un golpe tan doloroso para mi y para toda mi familia, pude sentir el dolor y la angustia que ellos pasaban, que Felipe no pueda recuperar su brazo era la mas grande preocupacion y la angustia mas grande que sentia. Yo vivo en USA ellos mi amiga y Felipe, viven en Lima Peru. Felipe estuvo internado en la clinica San Pablo en Lima y las cuentas medicas por pagar son altisimas, así como mi amiga lo muestra en una entrevista publica que le hicieron. El ver que Gofoundme fue una manera de ayudar para muchas familias, fue una inspiracion para mi abrirla. Todo el dinero que se recaude sera para aliviar los gastos medicos, transplante de piel, terapias, medicina y mas. Los gastos medicos ascienden a mas de 25000 dolares. Yo enviare el dinero recaudado atravez de mi banco directamente a su cuenta de ahorros de banco de mi amiga en Peru. Les hare saber cuando mi amiga reciba el dinero. El día lunes 24 de febrero después de haber participado de una competencia internacional de ciclismo en Lima Perú, Felipe sufrió un terrible accidente. Felipe estaba disfrutando de un día de piscina junto a su familia y amigos cuando derrepente su brazo fue succionado por la bomba de circulación de agua de la piscina. Felipe se ahogó y solo pudieron sacarlo con la fuerza de dos adultos. Su padre, Dante Vise, le hizo RCP y lucho para lograr devolverlo a la vida pero su brasito quedo seriamente lastimado necesitando 2 operaciones de urgencia para no perderlo.

Por favor ayúdenos a que Felipe pueda recuperarse y pueda cumplir sus sueños de ser un gran ciclista profesional y seguir participando en competencias internacionales de ciclismo representando a nuestro querido Huaraz y Perú!!
