Fellow Firefighter Annie needs us

Yesterday at approximately 11am the Newfield Fire Company was called out to a structure fire. Upon arrival it was determined to be one of their own members Annie Gay's home. The Fire Company worked quickly but the construction of the home made locating the fire difficult. The Fire was extinguished but has left Annie with a significant amount of loss of belongings and loss of her home.

Much of her clothing was salvaged, but will need need thorough cleaning before determining if they can be worn again. Sadly everything else has significant smoke and water damage and most was unable to be saved. Annie is currently staying with family and will begin the process of re-building. Annie has helped her community and others for many years, she is now in need of this help.
