Fellowship Family Cares About Chicago

Tax deductible
Our Fellowship Family is extraordinary.  Every day, we work to help people in Israel and around the world.

In this surreal and extraordinary time, we are also able to help our brothers and sisters in Chicago: people on the front lines - health care workers, grocery store clerks, delivery men and women, restaurant workers, transit workers - as well as those who are struggling to make ends meet, put food on the table, educate their children, or care for elderly family members or neighbors. There are everyday heroes all over Chicago and our many neighborhoods and suburbs.

                                                                                                                                                https://time.com/collection/coronavirus-heroes

We can help.  While we are all facing challenges during this time, we are still able to work. We continue to be ‘the helpers’ as Yael has said.  Now, as a Fellowship Family, let’s join together to provide aid and respite to our neighbors here at home.

Many non-profit groups are providing assistance at this time in Chicagoland. As a tangible way to help our neighbors, we have chosen to make donations to the City of Chicago's Community COVID-19 Response Fund. This fund is being managed through the collaboration of United Way of Metro Chicago and the City of Chicago. For a list of the local organizations who have received grants from the fund so far, visit:  https://liveunitedchicago.org/press-release-3-24-2020

We aim to raise $1,000 for Chicago’s Response Fund.  Robin has committed to a $100 seed gift, so we are already 10% to our goal!

If you are able, give what you can afford
