Felts Family Adoption

Yes, it’s true! WE ARE ADOPTING AGAIN, and we're so excited for you to join us on this journey. We are expecting the Lord to guide us every step of the way, and anticipate His glory being revealed through it all.

In case you are just joining, let me give you a little background. Stan and I (Ashley) have been married for 22 yrs. He has been in law enforcemet for over 26 yrs., while I have chosen to be a stay-at-home mom and home school our six children. Our oldest son, Addison, is 19, and recently married Rainey in June 2019. They are expecting their first baby boy, which will be our first grandchild, in May, 2020! Our oldest daughter, Emerson, is 16, and our sons, Grayson and Jackson are 12 and 10. We thought Jackson would be our last child, but turns out God had a different plan. Through adoption, our family has been blessed with two more amazing daughters, both who have special needs. Mika Ella is 7, and is from the Philippines, while Isabelle is also 7, and is from China. If you haven’t seen their adoption stories, you can see Mika Ella's here:

... and Isabelle's here:

Adoption has completely changed our family’s heart and given us a clear vision of how God wants to use our family to serve Him. After adopting Mika Ella in 2016, the Lord began to soften our hearts and burden us with orphans who are seemingly forgotten; those who are left without a family because their medical conditions frighten us. He has given us a clearer vision of what the Gospel truly is.

In January of 2018, He again burdened our hearts with a little girl named Isabelle. She was blind, and had some pretty severe neurological issues. Her medical conditions were scary, and everything in our flesh was screaming “No!” There were also so many unknowns, and the neglect she was faced with left her weighing a little under 20 lbs., at five years old. Our family found ourselves in a position, where the weight of the world was on our shoulders, as we thought about the LIFE CHANGING IMPACT our answer would have on her. While saying “no” would have left us comfortable, it would have ultimately led to her death, and that’s something God wouldn’t let us overlook. Praise God for His redemption over her sweet life; she has blessed us far more than we could have ever imagined.

Fast forward to today. While our plate is pretty full, we are still able to provide for another child and give them the love and attention they need. While we are unable to share the name/pictures/videos at this time, a little girl from China has captured our hearts. She has some physical deformities (missing thumb, hand deformity, missing forearm bone - ulna, cleft palate, and unknown leg problem), her photos/videos reveal a greater problem – a broken spirit. She is about to turn three years old, and she looks so lonely and unhappy in all her pictures. She needs a family and she needs one now. Because of several things we have seen in her medical report, we believe it is imperative we bring her home as soon as possible, just as we did with Isabelle. We hope to accomplish this by the end of this year.

While we are perfectly able to provide for and love another child, we do not have the financial resources to fund an international adoption. Just as we did with Mika Ella & Isabelle, we are asking for your help in bringing her home. So far, we have paid the initial application fee and the home study ($3,000), and we expect to pay our first adoption agency fee at the end of May. Overall, we believe we will need to raise approximately $35,000, as we did with our last China adoption. From experience, I can say we could have never brought Mika or Isabelle home, if it had not been for people like you helping us fund the adoptions. Please consider helping us bring this little girl home by donating whatever you are able to, and if unable, please keep our family and this little girl in your prayers as we navigate through this time.

Thank you! ... and please share on social media to help us get the word out.
