HELPING THE FAMILY OF SIMEON OLUFEMI OGUNDEPO

Femi (also fondly called Simeon) was a loving husband, father, friend, and community member. He was a 37-year-old Nigerian/Australian who had a passion for life and a bright future ahead of him. Sadly, he lost his battle with a chronic illness on the 20th of December, 2023.

His illness took a toll on him and his young family in every way possible. They faced enormous challenges and hardships, both emotionally and financially, as they tried to cope with his condition and provide him with the best care.

Femi is survived by his devoted wife, Dami, and his two adorable daughters, aged 7 and 3. They are now left alone to deal with the grief of losing their beloved husband and father, as well as the uncertainty of their future.

As Femi’s closest friends and work colleagues, we have set up this fundraising campaign to support his family during this tragic time. We want to help them cover the funeral costs and their living expenses for the next 12 months. This includes school fees, rent, groceries, utilities, and other essentials. Our goal is $125,000.

We know that no amount of money can ever replace Femi or ease the pain that his family is going through. But we hope that by easing their financial burden, we can give them some peace of mind and comfort as they navigate this difficult transition.
