Feminine Products for CSA-New Tech
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Erin Bailey. At my high school, Columbus Signature Academy- New Tech Campus, along with plenty of other high schools around the country, feminine products such as pads and tampons are not provided for us. The machines will not dispense the products for us and are never filled. If a student does not have a sanitary napkin or tampon, the nurse will provide you with one but not without a fee. In order to help prevent embarassing situations for girls who were not prepared for their period or cannot afford to purchase them, I set up a table with a box that I fill with feminine products that I purchase with my own money. I have been providing our school bathroom with pads and tampons for almost two years now, and we all know feminine products are not cheap!
I'm asking for donations to help keep this up and running for students who during their periods, rely on this service. Anything helps! The money raised from this will go towards purchasing feminine products so that they will be free and available to the girls in our school!
If you are a woman or know one who knows what it is like to start your period and not be prepared please help this get out to the public!
It would mean the world to us girls at CSA.
Thank you so much!
