Feminist Truck, fuckparade 2024
Donation protected
Hi there! We're a collective of individuals from the queer-feminist crew Euphoriot and the label cigs4kids, based in Berlin. Our roots are in leftist subcultures, united by a passion for fast, aggressive electronic music, and a commitment to creating inclusive and diverse party environments.
Even in 2024, the Hardcore / Tekno scenes remain heavily male-dominated. FLINTA individuals working behind the scenes—whether DJing or organizing events—are still the exception. They often face the same old challenges typical of these environments: from not being able to dance for five minutes without being harassed to having to work twice as hard to be recognized as serious artists. Unfortunately, many parties still fall short when it comes to inclusivity.
Last year, we introduced the first feminist truck at fupa, and the overwhelming positive response confirmed the high demand for more feminist spaces in this male-dominated scene.
But creating these spaces requires resources, which is why we’re asking for your support!
Our goal is to create a space where everyone can be themselves, regardless of gender, nationality, or sexual orientation. A place where you don't have to be the ‘toughest’ or ‘hardest’ to enjoy the party, but where the atmosphere is genuinely welcoming. Where people look out for one another, and problematic behavior isn’t just brushed off as ‘business as usual’. And where performers are chosen for their music, not as eye candy or token diversity bookings.
Subcultural leftist spaces are rapidly disappearing, and we’re joining the fuckparade to show that we won’t be erased so easily. With clubs, Wagenplätze, and other free spaces being sacrificed to capital interests, it’s more important than ever to claim every square meter we can. We need to be loud, annoying, unadjusted or just plain weird!! Finding creative spaces is becoming increasingly difficult, especially for uncommercial parties that don't attract huge crowds. The result is a city growing more sterile and anonymous by the day, with a music scene that increasingly caters to economic interests.
The money we raise will primarily go toward renting a truck and securing a proper sound system. In the past, we’ve faced multiple fines for “disturbance of the public peace,” so we also need to set aside some funds to cover those potential costs. Every donation helps, no matter how small. And if inflation has got you down and you can’t contribute financially, we still hope to see you raving with us on September 14th!
