Foremost Art Troupe went to Finals and just received the Double Platinum Award from Taoli World Dance Competition in New York!
What have we been doing before and since we received the prestigious award?
Since early 2019, we have been rehearsing tirelessly in evenings and on weekends, fundraising, overcoming many personal challenges to pull together an amazing charity fundraising show on May 2, 2020! This is in support of the American Chinese Culture and Education Foundation (ACCEF)'s charitable missions. The American Chinese Culture and Education Foundation is a 5013 tax-exempt charity. (www.accef.net ).
All proceeds from our performance will be donated to support the following two efforts
1. Coronavirus Relief - This is to support front-line medical responders' longer-term education and recovery efforts. An outbreak of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus has caused more than 2,000 deaths, primarily in China, with nearly 75,000 cases confirmed globally. The World Health Organization has declared a Global Emergency. Donations will support response efforts in China.
2. Sponsorship of Chinese minority students who live in the poverty-stricken Da Liang Mountains, Southwest China's Sichuan province.
Challenges students have to overcome for getting to school.

Foremost Art Troupe, 粉墨东方艺术团, founded in 1999, with a group of professional women. The troupe has been actively performing in the Greater Boston area for nearly 20 years. The group earned their fame in performing award-winning dance pieces including winning three Elite Platinum Award at the prestigious Taoli World Dance Competition. They are dancers, dreamers, professionals, mothers, and most of all they are givers to their communities.

Today, they will join hands with the American Chinese Culture and Education Foundation (ACCEF) and Asia Women Association (AWA) to host a charity fundraising performing art show along with Boston Chinese Arts elite from areas of dance, drama, singing, opera, and other art forms.
We want to take this opportunity to give special thanks to our parents, husbands, sons, daughters, communities, and our dear friends who have given us endless support, encouragement and unconditional love through the last 20 years. We are grateful for all you have done!
Please give us your generous support to help us achieve our goal of raising $5000 to support our show and our charity of choice. We have worked tirelessly rehearsing, fundraising, overcoming many personal challenges to pull together this amazing show!

粉墨东方艺术团，作为一支已有舞蹈表演近二十年经历的艺术团体，三次获得海外桃李杯舞蹈大赛最高獎十佳鉑金的獎杯。我们曾成功举办了华星杯全美首届华人舞蹈专场晚会，在大波士顿地区享有盛誉。
在粉墨东方艺术团成立二十年之际，我们將攜手全美華人文化和教育基金會，在 Asia Women Association (AWA) 的協助下，聯袂波士頓藝術精英，组织一场东方文化艺术的精品晚会，融诗音画舞为一体，把艺术的触角切入民族生存最敏感的神经，在古今中西，传统与先锋的冲击中，用深沉而温暖的色彩，探寻和呈现一场东方文化艺术的盛宴。
在此，我們歡迎各界人士和團體與我們共襄盛舉。您的贊助不但將成就一個二十年的執著夢想，同時演出的全部收入將捐獻給全美華人文化和教育基金會，定點用於抗击新冠病毒和彝族大涼山扶貧助學項目。当白发皓首，回想我們今天所做的一切，此间，也曾有我们默默所尽的一份绵薄心力，定將无憾矣！
