Fence for Woodward Park Healing Garden

The Woodward Park Healing Garden, is used by community residents looking to grow food and medicinal plants. In the past we've had a trespassing issue and people used the garden as a dog park/bathroom.
In 2019, we worked very hard to make sure that we had new garden beds, fresh soil and other improvements were in place to create a safe growing environment, for interested gardeners.
We currently have a plastic fence but, we would really like to have a durable, long-lasting fence. This would allow our gardeners to feel comfortable, knowing that their food was safe from contamination.
The Woodward Healing Garden is trying to raise $2500 for a fence and gate, which would give all of us a sense of security and help protect our food.
No donation is too small. We know during this crisis, that this is a big ask, but we also believe that growing food is also important for families during this time.
