SPREAD THE WORD!
The James Williams Foundation
The James Williams Foundation is a support service set up by Laurynn Williams for those affected by amyloidosis, whether it be patients themselves or their families, as well as working to advocate for the early detection and faster diagnosis of amyloidoisis - a rare and cruel myeloma.
Also contributing towards research at the royal free hospital in London, through fundraising events for da, which I hope many people would like to get involved with.
"I never imagined a world where my dad would not get to see me graduate, but I promised him I would become the best doctor I could be, that I would fight hard for other people affected by this awful disease, and work to become a specialist in the field. I know he is with me in every lecture, every exam and with me in every patient I treat.
I don't think any of us will ever understand why this life was so suddenly and unexplainably cruel to such a wonderful person, and getting the spark back for medicine, going back into a hospital environment, and navigating our new life without the most wonderful man I will ever know is hard, all of our problems would be solved by you walking through the door, not a day goes by where we don't think of you, or there isn't a reminder of you somewhere, but everything I do, I do for you my lovely da, save some lemon drizzle cake for us!"
