Fennessy Family Fund

I'm Tracy Remillard asking for help on behalf of the Fennessy Family. Donny and I have been life long friends of Jim (Liam) and welcomed Kerri with open arms! Jim is blessed to have Kerri as his wife! He wouldn't be here today without her!
With much reluctance, Kerri has finally agreed to share Jim's story.
Jim is a proud US Marine Corp Veteran and has been suffering with PTSD amongst other things since he came home from Desert Storm. Slowly his memory and cognitive skills were changing.
After months of intense and frustrating testing, including MRI CT Scans, EEG, PET Scans, Neuro Evaluations and lots of doctor appointments he was finally diagnosed with Early Onset Alziemers.
Their world has been turned upside down. Early onset Alziemers means that he is forgetting what he is saying, not having word recall, not sleeping properly and slowly losing his daily living skills. This has been very hard to watch as a family friend, I'm sure it is devastating for Kerri and their 14 year old daughter Avery.
They have done what every hard core Irish family does and keeps plugging along making things work within the household, but the financial strain is becoming too much while they wait to hear from Social Security Disability and VA Disability. As most people know or have experienced these things don't happen overnight.
Jim has provided for his family as a member of The Pipefitters Local 537 for 30+ years and can no longer work. He unfortunately had to stop working in July of 2022. Since Jim can't work anymore Kerri is the sole provider at the moment. She's been doing her best to keep things afloat, but they could use some financial help in the interim. She’s been doing the financial rob Peter to pay Paul jig for months to pay the mortgage, utilities, put food on the table etc….
If you can donate financially that would be great! It would be one less thing for Kerri to have to focus on and worry about. I know first hand they're always some of the first friends to step up and help others ❤️.
Financial support is just one way to help... There are other ways to help too! Jim feels cooped up at home during the day. If you know him... you know he's climbing the walls.
He could use some time out for a bite to eat or for a walk down to the store or even just a phone call.
Feel free to reach out Kerri if you would like to talk to or visit with Jim. The financial support is just one aspect, socializing is really great for Jim as well.
