Feral kittens and mom need help

Donation protected

Update: 3 down 3 to go! The kittens she abandoned were fixed and adopted so there's 2 black and 1 white one. Then momma unfortunately has to wait for PCC since she's not tame but she's on the wait list and will eventually be fixed. Hopefully before she gets pregnant again! The wait list is 4months and it's only been about a month so probably 3 more to go. I'm still hoping someone will still take momma. So she has spina bifida and Microphthalmia so she's not fit to be outside. She can't jump or run due to her spine. And she's blind in one eye due to the Microphthalmia.

Hi I'm Kirsti and I live in the nation's neighborhood in Nashville TN and had someone abandon a pregnant cat in my backyard a few weeks ago. I had planned on getting the cat to my vet to get a heartworm test before getting it on flea tick and heartworm meds which the vet needs to see the cat at least once to get them on a monthly regimen. My neighbor who saw the culprit dump her was told it was a feral cat they had gotten fixed and were releasing. However this weekend I saw her kittens so that was a lie and definitely not the case. I'm guessing they dumped her because the pregnancy and because she has either old injuries or deformities. She's got one small eye I think she's blind out of and a tail shorter than usual that doesn't move and stays down. This poor girl needs some help and so do her babies. I plan on taking them all to pet community center to get checked up and fixed, and to get momma checked for heartworm and on flea tick and heartworm chewables that I'll get monthly. I just need help with the funds for the low cost spay/neuter for her and her 4-5 kittens. I'll be calling as soon as they open to see about how much this will cost. If you have it in your heart to help out just donate below. Or I have also been taking food donations as well. Anything helps at this point. Two kind souls have given me a bag of adult cat food and the other a bag and several cans of kitten food so that's a great start! I'll be keeping momma cat around here since she's feral but I'll be trying to get the kittens in about 2-3 weeks to a rescue so they don't turn feral. I'll be taking care of them all till then while trying to raise funds for their spay/neuter and momma's spay and heartworm test and flea/tick meds in the meantime but we could use any help your able to offer. We are looking at at least $80 ea for spay/neuter and $30 each rabies and $30 each vaccines. An additional $65 for moms blood work as her age is unknown. And also a heartworm test for her that I don't know the price of yet. So $140 each times 6. That doesn't include the vet checkup and monthly flea/tick meds I'll be providing seperate from these costs. Nor does it include any dewormer as it's unknown if they need it but probably will. As you can see from the breakdown of costs, why I started this campaign. Thank you everyone whose pitched in so far and those who offer kinds words of support as well. I'll admit I got overwhelmed when I saw all those babies! I knew it was going to be a task getting the one cat help and now there's a half dozen that need help which is why I'm creating this page. I know if we work together we can make sure these babies get a good home and ensure momma is as comfortable as possible!
Thank you
