Fergie Lee Memorial Fund
Fergie was a very special animal. She was adopted from a family friend who rescued her off of a farm where she and her litter mates were obviously being neglected. After her rescue, the song “Fergilicious” came over the radio and the little cockapoo got so excited she was named Fergie then and there. It is likely that had she not been rescued, she would have faced life in a puppy mill as she was a “high-end” dog.
Fergie lived a wonderful 11 years with her forever family before succumbing to complications from Cushing’s Disease and diabetes. She loved her family, her fur siblings, and she definitely loved food, tug of war, and being snuggled.
In her memory, the family is asking for donations to the Cedar Valley Humane Society so that other pups like Fergie can find their way out of bad situations to loving forever families.
