Ferguson Family Home Fire

The Backstory
Late in the evening on October 29, 2020, the Ferguson family had a devastating house fire. While they are all safe, they have lost everything - they have nothing other than the clothes on their backs. They are one of the most generous families and have given so much to so many. As a community, it is now our time to reciprocate the kindness they have continually bestowed on all of us. We would like to give as much to them as we can to help them through this awful situation, to help them get some clothes, and help them get back on their feet.
One day after the fire, they found out that people broke into the home and stole anything of value that is salvageable!! Their safe was stolen with cash, banking information, passports, jewelry, and more.
What They Have Lost
Not only have they lost all of their belongings, but they are also losing their chance to live in this home. They moved in less than a year ago (it will be 1 year on Tuesday). They are devastated that they will not get the opportunity to truly make their house a home.
In addition, Olivia, the Ferguson’s daughter, lost her Grand Piano, Cello, Clavinova, and other instruments and music. These will all be expensive to replace but are vital to her ability to make a living. She has given such a gift to so many through her teaching, writing, and performing. Let's try to help give back!
How You Can Help
Often the financial burden of a house fire makes it difficult for families to get back on their feet. Please consider donating to these incredible people! No donation is too small! Together we can give back to a family who has tirelessly given to our community!
