Ferguson Homeowner Devastated By Flood water

Georgia Cotton has lived at her home in Ferguson for over 18 years.  She is proud to live and work in the Ferguson community and has always kept her home in pristine condition.

In August floodwater forced its way into Georgia's house and turned her life upside down. The water wiped out her  finished basement.  She now has to deal with mud, mold and bugs in her home.  Her furnace and hotwater heater were also destroyed. Because of all this, Georgia has been unable to live in her home and has had to stay temporarily at an extended stay hotel.  

Georgia has informed the City about the erosion and issues she has been having long before this happened and nothing was done. In addition, her neighbor has refused to allow city utility workers on his property to inspect.  This has left Georgia stuck with no help from her insurance company, her neighbor, or the city she calls home. 

This unfortunate situation has left her with an insurmountable amount of unexpected expenses.  All funds will assist with helping Georgia to get back on her feet.
