Fermin Soto Sanchez

Tragically on Monday, June 13, 2022, Fermin Santo Sanchez died after being hit by an SUV while walking his bicycle on the side of the road 1 km from the house where he lived as a migrant worker. Fermin was with his two friends and co-workers at the time of the accident. All three were hit by the vehicle. His two friends, Alfonzo and Francisco, are expected to survive, but sadly Fermin passed away from his injuries.

 

Fermin was very popular at Spring Valley Gardens, the greenhouse where he worked for 11 years. He was a kind, diligent worker, loved by his bosses, co-workers, and especially his family. Fermin is survived by his parents, his wife and three children, ages eleven, nine and two. Fermin was just 35 years old.

 

I am starting this GoFundMe to help his wife, Maricela, and children as they have lost their source of income. 

Spring Valley Gardens is owned by the Van Koeveringe family. We will take every precaution to ensure the funds get transferred to the widow and her children in a safe manner.
