Fern Creek 12u Softball - World Series Trip 2023

This is the story of twelve 11 and 12-year-old girls who came together to do something pretty amazing. All played softball for many years, but never collectively as a team. Pulled together at the beginning of June to represent Fern Creek Babe Ruth, this team, with just two practices together, defeated many talented and seasoned softball teams, ultimately leading them to the title of Ohio Valley Regional Champions.

During July 17-26, they will travel to Treasure Coast, Florida to represent the Ohio Valley in the 2023 Babe Ruth Softball World Series. While they may wear Ohio Valley on their chest during those games, they will proudly represent Fern Creek and Louisville in their hearts.

The girls are asking for support from their community, family, and fans to help carry them to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity - a summer of softball and friendships they will remember for the rest of their lives.
