Fern Ravine Eagle Project
Donation protected
My name is Graham Wootton, and I am a Life Scout in Troop 203 in Oakland working on my Eagle Project. I am using a "Go Fund Me" campaign to raise money to buy supplies.
My project is working with FOSC (Friends of Sausal Creek) to install 70' of fencing in the Fern Ravine area of Joaquin Miller Park. This project will be helpful to the Park because it will protect the redwoods and the area around the ravine. The project will help restore the wetlands, which is good for the animals in the Park. This is an add-on project to other fence projects that other Eagle Scouts have done. The donations will go towards buying the wood, nails, and other supplies needed to make the fence.
The project will be on October 1st, and I am recruiting a group of scouts to help me build the fence. I want to do this Eagle Project because I want to help save the planet, and I would like to study Environmental Science at college and then, perhaps, become an Environmental Scientist.
Please note: since I am not a registered non-pro!t organization, the donations cannot be used for tax deductions. However, we will donate any excess funds to FOSC to help with their restoration efforts.
I appreciate your support.
