Fernando Aponte, a loving family a faithful friend

My name is Tina Aponte, and I'm raising funds for the funeral expenses of my beloved husband, Fernando Aponte, who passed away on February 8, 2024, due to hospital complications.

Fernan was my husband of 58 years and the love of my life. Together, we raised our three children, Sonia, Fernando Jr., and Jazmin. He was kind, caring, and loved life. He always put others before himself. He loved to take photos of nature and the beauty around him, gardening, and enjoying a cold beer after a hard day of work as a welder. He was my best friend and partner in everything.

On February 3rd, Fernan was taken to Mid-State Medical Center diagnosed with a brain bleed and was transferred to Yale-New Haven Hospital. Within a short timeframe, he took a turn for the worse. He began experiencing signs of Diabetic shock. Ultimately resulting his untimely passing.

I'm devastated and heartbroken by these events. He fought so hard and never gave up hope. He deserved a better outcome and a longer life. I'm hurt and in disbelief.

I need your help to cover the costs of Fernan's funeral, as we will have him laid to rest at our home in Florida. The total amount is $10,000, which we don't have in savings or insurance.
