Fernando's Kitchen Equipment

On this, my 20th year in the food service industry, I have finally been given a chance that is too good to pass up...my own little restaurant. A brick and mortar location for I Like Food. As many of you know this is my dream. I just have one large obstacle...I need a lot of money in a short amount of time in order to buy all the equipment, pay for permits, rent and a whole bunch of food.
The plan is to open at the begining of March. It will be located in the back of a popular bar in Ridgewood, Queens, which is a very up and coming neighborhood. (I am not stating the name of the place just yet out of respect to the current chef. All that will come out soon).
If you have been to my popup (please check out my Instagram @ilikefoodnyc) then you know what I'm all about. Awesome sandwiches and other bar grub with a focus on always having unique and delicious vegan options. But the star will still be the pulled pernil sandwhich. There will be brunch offered on weekends, and delivery through Seamless/Grubhub will also be available in the future. Open 7 days a week, 'til midnight Sun-Thurs and 'til 2am Fri-Sat.
This is all very sudden for me, and I am coming to you, my friends, on bended knee to ask if you can help in any way. I need this money in less than a month and am currently living paycheck to paycheck so, I clearly don't have all the funds needed for all the basic equipment to open a restaurant:
-Oven
-Stainless Steel Tables
-Lowboy
-Steam Table
-Induction Burners
-Freezer Unit
-Storage Shelving
-Pots/Pans
-Lawyer Fees
-And the million other little pieces needed
I realize that there are so many other things you can be donating money to in this troubled world and that me asking for money to cook chicken fingers is a lot to ask for, but I have to try. This is my dream but I was born with no silver spoon in my mouth and am currently using a plastic one. But I'm a damn good cook and my popup does make ok money with rave reviews. I know if I had an actual kitchen of my own (currently renting or begging chefs to use theirs) that I would be able to really take off.
Even if I only make a couple hundred bucks off this page, I will still be forever grateful to anyone that donates. And for those that DO, know your sandwich will be on me.
There will be more info to share as it comes in. Thank you so much for reading all this and I really hope to get a good response. Again...PLEASE SHARE THIS!
