Ferrin Family Adoption!

Hi everyone,

My name is Sarah Brooks and I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my close friends Marcy & Eric Ferrin. We had the pleasure of first meeting Marcy & Eric back in 2019 and our relationship quickly blossomed after realizing what truly amazing people they are. Starting this type of thing is not something they would generally go for but I convinced them to at least let me try!

Back in 2013 they began their foster parent journey and have helped sixty-three children so far. In June of 2020, Marcy and Eric started fostering a family of four kiddos and quickly fell in love with them. In July of 2021, the kids were placed with their paternal grandparents for eleven months. During that time, Marcy and Eric continued to have a close relationship with them and their biological grandparents. In June of 2022, Marcy and Eric were blessed with the chance to regain custody of the kids and since then all four kids remain with them.

Marcy and Eric have now begun the process to officially adopt all four kids and although they are elated and filled with excitement, they are also fully aware of the daunting financial piece that comes with this decision. They know that covering the cost of four adoptions is going to be tough but they are more than willing to do so. However, knowing the amount of people they have helped and made an impact on, I wanted to take an opportunity to provide others with a direct way that they can help make this dream for a family come true!

In the time that I have known Marcy and Eric I have spent countless hours with their family and watching them with their children has taught me so much. Patience, empathy, gratitude, respect, kindness, generosity and countless other amazing aspects have built the foundation that this family sits on and it is beautiful to see. I can only hope that we can get a few people to rally behind them and help them reach this goal!
