Fertility costs for the Brinkman Family

Hi everyone,

We are setting this up for The Brinkman Family because this is something they would never ask for on their own. Especially because it can feel like a want, and not a “need”; but anyone who has wanted to add to their family and can't, knows the pain of infertility and how it weighs on your heart.

Hailey and Tommy have one child, Cayman, who just turned 3. They went through 2 years of infertility and a loss before conceiving him rather quickly using medication and monitoring. This time around it has been just as hard if not harder. They tired naturally for over a year, hopeful that since having one already, baby two would come quicker. They just finished their second cycle of medication and monitoring that is the same protocol used to conceive Cayman. Unfortunately neither cycle was successful. Each cycle of meds and monitoring is $500 out of pocket, and they need to move onto IUI which will be $1500-2000 a cycle out of pocket.

As a military family on a tight budget, treatments are quickly becoming a big financial burden, so they'd have to stop soon and give up on the dream of expanding their family. We know that they are so incredibly grateful and feel fortunate to have one child, but their hearts are hurting. We also know what a huge community of family and friends they have, all around the world, who love them and want to support them. We know that when Hailey and Tommy started their journey they wanted 3 kids and now that's dropped to 2. If everyone in their lives was able to contribute a small amount, or share this fundraiser, maybe their dream wouldn't have to change or be pushed aside again.
