Kim Metcalf & Family

Some of you may know, but for those who don't this past summer Kim was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. John and Kim chose to keep things private for the sake of Trip and Poppy.

Recently Kim was admitted to the hospital due to complications related to her cancer. The medical team was able to quickly diagnose the immediate complications and successfully implement steps for recuperation.

She is still recovering and still needs lots of care. Currently, the cancer growth is outpacing her chosen treatment path. There is a plan in place to re-asses that path and make adjustments based on the options available. These are hard times and hard choices/conversations are on the horizon. The family's greatest needs are with the normal part of life (taking care of kids, cooking, cleaning, sleeping, etc.) and prayer.

At this time, the focus is on Kim and her care and we want to help lighten any financial burden that could arise while John and Kim are both home and not able to work.
