Gavin Cockman

Hi, we are close friends of Gavin Cockman and his family and we thought we would set up this page to try and help them through a bit of a difficult time, they are currently going through.

As a lot of you are aware Gavin has recently had some bad news regarding his health and has had to have a major life change and retire from his beloved football. If you know Gavin you would know that, that in itself has taken a huge hit on him. He is also unable to work for a good while, due to needing another operation on his back. Due to current NHS waiting times Gavin will be waiting months and months for his operation. He has seen a back specialist who has strongly advised him to have an Epidural injection. This would need to be done privately and is very costly. This should hopefully relieve a lot of pain that he is in, while he awaits his operation on the NHS. It really would make life alot more comfortable for Gavin. All this has not only affected his physical health it has also affected his mental health.

This is where I am hoping we can all get behind Gavin and get him the treatment he needs. It’s hard to see him in such pain and discomfort and on top of that stressed with money worries, as he can’t work. He is really struggling, so please if you could help us help him and his beautiful family we would really appreciate it. Any donation big or small will help more than you realise.
