Elizabeth's Road to Recovery

On the night of Saturday, August 10th, our beloved Elizabeth—a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and instructor—was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident in North Versailles, PA. The crash occurred around 9 PM, and immediate assistance was provided by bystanders who quickly administered first aid. Within minutes, paramedics arrived on the scene, finding Elizabeth unconscious but breathing. She was swiftly transported to Forbes Regional Hospital, where she was met by a remarkable trauma team.

By 10 PM, our family was informed of the tragedy, and her father was able to rush to her side. The rest of our family traveled from across the country to be with her, offering support and love. Currently, Elizabeth remains in critical condition; she is sedated and faces a challenging and uncertain road to recovery.

We are reaching out through this GoFundMe campaign to seek your support for Elizabeth's numerous financial needs during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will be used to cover:

-Medical Expenses: The cost of emergency care, surgeries, and ongoing treatment.

-Loss of Income: As Elizabeth is unable to work, we need assistance to cover her lost wages.

-Long-Term Care: Future medical needs and rehabilitation as she works towards recovery.

Elizabeth, affectionately known as Liz or Bibs to those close to her, has always been a source of strength and inspiration to us all. 1. This campaign is to raise funds for the beneficiary, Elizabeth Lindsay, my sister. 

2. All funds raised will be used solely to support Elizabeth financially. This will include uncovered medical bills, rehabilitation costs, personal bills, short term and long term and ongoing care.
