Help cure Ramesh Darji

Donation protected
Eleven year old Nepali boy Ramesh Darji has a rare fungal disease that doctors have not been able to cure for several years. He cannot use his legs and several body parts have been severely affected by this disease. His only hope for treatment is going to a larger village with specialists, but his family does not have money for the transportation or the treatment.

We heard about Ramesh through one of our closest friends and partners (Raju) in Nepal, and decided we had to help. Raju has been in constant communication with Ramesh's parents.

Friends For Global Change will be raising funds to help Ramesh receive treatment. 100% of the funds raised will go to the family and will be used for ongoing medical support outside of what the Kathmandu College is covering  (prescriptions, vitamins, etc), housing while the family is in KTM, and surgery which will take place once his body is able to handle it to help fix his eyesight and potentially his bones. The funds are being managed by FFGC and will be distributed to the providers during each phase of his treatment (Healthcare providers will provide copies of itemized costs).

As of April, FFGC is also partnering with the Joss Stone Foundation to help raise the funds. Joss was recently in Nepal and was able to spend time with Ramesh. Please check our updates to see a video of Joss with Ramesh.

Thank you for your help!
