Help Support Jessica’s Stroke Recovery

On February 10, 2024, Jessica Maynard suffered a devastating stroke which caused paralysis in her left eye and her vocal chords are damaged. She is visually and speech impaired, coordination and balance are minimal- needs to re-learn how to walk, talk and be able to care for herself. Jessica is being fed by feeding tubes and IV’s. While she remains in the hospital, she is battling through these obstacles everyday. She will also continue to need long term care 24/7 in order to recover. Jessica has a long challenging road of recovery ahead including intense physical and occupational therapy daily. She is a Veterinarian at Modern Animal in Pasadena, CA. She is universally beloved by her patients and clients, as well as her co-workers.

We need your help, for her continuity of care and living situation as she will need support moving forward around the clock, financial assistance and medical help. Jessica enjoys playing piano, singing and taking care of homeless animals. She is a passionate caring veterinarian and we hope and pray that one day she can return to caring for animals.
