Support Amara & Family as she Battles PTLD Cancer

Hello friends and family,
Many of you know of Amara's Story but for those who don’t, I’ll enlighten you....
At 6 months old Amara was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy which eventually lead to heart failure
In 2009, at age 4 she received her first heart transplant(God Is Good)
In 2014, at the age of 9 she started going through rejection and received her second heart transplant(Won’t He Do It).  In 2019 at 14yrs old her body again started to reject her heart. Unfortunately the same immunosuppressive medications that she’s been taking for her heart has now damaged her kidneys. Amara now is going through both Heart & Kidney failure and is in desperate need of both organs.  This Child is blessed and highly favored because in October 2019 she received her Third heart transplant and a kidney transplant without complications. The doctors were amazed by her progress. We all knew at that point She’s definitely a Miracle!!! December 30, 2019 Amara is doing well and on her way home to start the year off new!!!The year started  off well then somewhere around April Amara returns back to the hospital. Her heart & Kidney are actually doing very well however she’s been diagnosed with Post-transplant lymphoproliferative disease (PTLD). It’s a type of cancer or lymphoma that may occur after bone marrow or organ transplant. . The cancer started in Amara’s stomach  and has spread to various parts of her body.  September 9,2020 Shvonne (Amara’s mother) was informed by Amara’s Medical team that the cancer has spread from her stomach to her  brain and progressing so quickly that they don’t see her life expectancy going past 30 days

Now 15 yrs old,  Amara has been such a fighter through all of this even though she has not been able to truly enjoy life to the fullest due to her health. She has remained strong never allowing her spirit to shift. She’s  always smiling, silly and vibrant.  A beautiful person inside & out.  Amara & Shvonne along with Yasmeen her older sister have been the Epitome of Strength & Resilience for these last 15yrs.

So I ask you all to please be Their Strength at this time During Amara’s battle. Lets come together like the village they need and help Shvonne prepare for whatever God has planned for Amara
