FIBRO-CONNECT-TS MINIBUS REPAIR APPEAL

Hi all.

My name is Stephen Picton and I run Teessides only Fibromyalgia support unit.

I set this up in 2020 after being diagnosed with the illness.

My 100mph life had come to a complete stop and I simply couldn't function.

I ended up in a Mental Health Unit for 6 weeks after trying to take my own life.

It was only when I was there I discovered that Teesside didn't have any Fibromyalgia support groups I could attend.

So I took the decision to set one.

We have a minibus to help people come to groups, but need it repaired.

I'm raising funds to repair our wheelchair-accessible minibus to help those in our Fibromyalgia support groups connect and escape isolation, especially for trips to our hydro pool or a fun day out.
