Help Moiz Shaukat Defeat Fybrodysplasia Ossification Progres

Hi! My name is Mubashra Zahid and I am raising funds for a dear friend of mine Moiz Shaukat, someone whom I look upto & who continues to actively work to help others to this day, is in dire need of help himself today.

My friend suffers from Fybrodysplasia Ossification Progressiva, a disorder in which muscle tissue and connective tissue such as tendons and ligaments are gradually replaced by bone (ossified), forming bone outside the skeleton (extra-skeletal or heterotopic bone) that limits movement, and can further result in a series of different co-morbids arising with this condition including but not limited to malnutrition, respiratory difficulties, frequent viral illnesses & myositis. (please forgive me for any incorrect use of medical jargon). This has led to deteriorating his health, and he has been in the ICU, on & off, during the past year. His health condition has no cure, however there is hope in timely managing symptoms through proper care & medicines. Unfortunately, our healthcare system is not equipped to provide the necessary support that he requires, hence he has been recommended by his doctors to travel to the States for more advanced care.

The amount that we are aiming to raise is approximately €61,300 to support with his air travel as he can not travel in economy and to also manage clinical trials. I understand its a huge ask from everyone, given the current economic situation, but I also have faith in he power of goodness - big or small, every penny counts, every thought counts. I humbly request everyone who can help to donate in his name, & to those who can not, regardless, please remember him in your prayers.

A brief bio about my friend & why he's so incredible & needs to be saved:

Moiz Shaukat is a 23 years old humanitarian and motivational speaker. He is currently a university student studying BSB.

He is Founder of Moiz Shaukat Humanities (social work platform) and Moiz Shaukat Counselling Services. Moiz is also a member of National Youth Council under Imran Khan (Prime Minister)

Moiz has been Titled as "Super Hero of Pakistan" by Neo News in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020. He has neen invited to several national conferences, seminars, events as motivational speaker.

Moreover, he has organised of one of the biggest event in the history of Lahore in a very young age. Moiz Shaukat is also the Author of Self-help book "YOU ARE BORN TO FLY)"

He has inspired people to an extent that he is has been bestowed various international and national awards like "Pakistan's Best Youngest Inspirational Personality Award".

He is (TEDx Speaker); has been a Guest Speaker at TEDXLCWU, tedxcomsats amongst many others.

Moiz Shaukat's life story has been featured in Mangobazz, Urdu Point, Tube light and many other online websites & Featured by NEO TV, SAMAA TV, Urdu Point, and many other TV channels.

He, to this date, in this condition, continues to help people, leaving a life-long impact on everyone he's ever interacted with and he needs to survive this, because the world needs him more than ever.
