Field Uniforms for Wildlife Queensland

I’m Sam, a University of Queensland student and intern at the Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland (Wildlife Queensland ), a registered non-profit charity focused on wildlife conservation. I’ve decided to set up a GoFundMe to finance some needed field uniforms for Wildlife Queensland’s ecologists and volunteers.

Wildlife Queensland’s grants are strictly for conservation work, excluding administrative expenses such as field uniforms. Wildlife Queensland’s ecologists without uniforms often face mistrust from nearby homeowners when working in council parks adjacent to residential areas. These residents are confused by unfamiliar people conducting activities near their properties, which has led to confrontations before. Proper field uniforms would improve safety, increase brand visibility, and help attract more volunteers whose numbers are dwindling.

Funds will be spent on new field uniforms for Wildlife Queensland’s Project Officers and volunteers.
