Fight Against Fascism

My name is Adil Raja. I am fighting a legal and media battle against the fascist Pakistani Regime led by the military Junta. State of Pakistan and its intelligence agency ISI have launched a lawfare against me to shut my voice. As you know that I'm a whistle-blower and an activist, who continues to fight back with public support. My work continues being retired Army officer turned journalist, irrespective of the state persecution. All my assets have been seized and bank accounts frozen by the fascist state of Pakistan. Now I am being targeted in exile to cut off my remaining revenue sources. I am fighting back the fascism in the courts of the UK and online on various platforms. I have been recently cleared of serious allegations after a nine month long terrorism investigation in the UK by the counter-terrorism police in a case initiated against me by the state of Pakistan. My YouTube channels, being my source of income have been shut down, I believe because of the state pressure again. In a case of libel tourism against me by ISI's sector commander Brigadier Rashid Naseer in the UK courts, designed to punish me for my work, I have so far spent around GBP 70K, starting from June 2022 to date. The case is set to go to trial now in 2025. However, I have to submit my defence and complete related formalities in 2024. Defamation cases in the UK cost around £250,000 GBP to defend. ISI officials have no shortage of funds to hire the lawyers and top barristers. However, due to paucity of funds, I had to become litigant in person in the preliminary issues of trial hearing. I had my solicitor on record to help me, but facing a fancy and expensive legal team, I realized that without expert barrister, there is little chance of success in a litigation designed to muzzle freedom of speech. We had made an application for granting security of costs and another for stay of proceedings since the solicitors representing ISI officials are facing an inquiry into their conduct by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority. The judge decided against the applications in both instances and for that I was ordered to pay the costs incurred of GBP 10K to the claimant. I had no idea about paying the costs in case of a rejected application. It is a recent legislation apparently. Another disadvantage of not having an expert barrister. I also have no money left with me to pay this cost, specially since I already face overwhelming debt because of these litigations and the cost of living crisis in the UK. I am the only person in the history of Pakistan who is facing a statutory lawsuit against public participation SLAPP/Defamation case from a commander of ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence). I am also fighting a ban against me on YouTube through my legal team. Besides this, I face the wrath of the Pakistani Deep State, for exposing their dirty secrets with the help of my sources in the military establishment. Proof of which is a recently concluded terrorism investigation against me in which I was found innocent. It was a case initiated by the government of Pakistan accusing me for incitement of violence on 9th May, for which the UK authorities cleared me.
