2ND ANNUAL FIGHT AGAINST FENTANYL CLASSIC

Donation protected
Dear Potential Donor,

Basketball Spotlight LLC and New Hope Behavioral Health and Rehabilitation have joined forces to present the 2nd Annual Fight Against Fentanyl Classic. This basketball event will take place on October 20, 2024 at Holy Cross Preparatory Academy in Delran, NJ. The FAFC will feature Mercer County’s Top 10 high players from each graduation class (2028-2025) vs the Top 10 high school players in each graduation class from South Jersey .

The donations and proceeds from the four-game event will be used to benefit the New Hope Behavioral Health and Rehabilitation Adolescent Unit. The students in the adolescent unit will use the proceeds for resources and exposure to prevent substance abuse use and recidivism.

Last year the inaugural Fight Against Fentanyl Classic raised over $3,000. Those funds have been used to give our students great experiences and extra resources to help them maintain sobriety.

Fentanyl is the leading cause of death from 18 to 45 years of age. DEA administrator Anne Milgram stated “Fentanyl is the deadliest drug threat our nation has ever encountered. Fentanyl is everywhere, from large metropolitan areas to rural America, no community is safe from the poison.” More than 108,000 people have died from drug overdoses in the last year.

New Hope provides withdrawal management and intensive inpatient treatment for Adolescents (age 13-17). The services are specifically designed to provide a setting and structure in which adolescents can be successful in meeting developmental challenges that have been avoided because of substance use and other co-occurring disorders.

Your donation to this cause will have a great impact on our current students and others who will soon be arriving to New Hope. Finally, New Hope Behavioral Health and Rehabilitations is a non-profit 501C3 organization, therefore all donations are tax deductible. Our Tax ID will be provided upon request.

Thank You

Michael Melton (Basketball Spotlight)
