MBMC is a non-profit foundation fighting against period poverty, whilst also empowering girls in Ghana through education, advocacy and giving back to underprivileged communities.

Around the world, 800 million people are on their periods at any given moment and it’s estimated that 500 million people live without access to adequate menstrual hygiene. Many of them end up resorting to unsafe materials to manage their periods because their schools or workplaces don’t yet provide free menstrual products.

In Africa, Ghana has the least affordable menstrual products. Period advocates such as MBMC are fighting for the tax exemption of menstrual products to ensure that all women and girls can manage their periods with safety, dignity and irrespective of financial constraints.

£10 = 13 Sanitary packs of 10 or 12 pads

£20 = 26 Sanitary packs of 10 or 12 pads

£40 = 53 Sanitary packs of 10 or 12 pads

£60 = 80 Sanitary packs of 10 or 12 pads

£80 = 106 Sanitary packs of 10 or 12 pads

£100 = 133 Sanitary packs of 10 or 12 pads

MBMC donates sanitary packages and school supplies to local schools in Ghana.
